Create your own gift card envelope with Jo Nevill

With Christmas fast approaching I’m trying to get organised and make the gift card envelopes I shall need.  These are so simple and yet add something special to your gift.

As you can see, I went for non-traditional colours !!
Products used :

ZigWink of Luna – Silver

To make this gift card holder start with a piece of cardstock measuring 7 ¾ x 5.  Score at 2 ½ and 6.  The patterned paper on the top measures 2 ¼ x 4 ¾ and the smaller piece on the bottom measures 1 ½ x 4 ¾.  The piece on the inside for your greeting measures 2 ¼ x 4 ¾.   Fold the bottom piece up and apply adhesive to the sides only so that you can insert your gift card.
Next, stamp out your Santa
Using the flesh coloured KurecolorMarkers, colour Santa’s skin.
Using the Lilac Art and Graphic Marker, colour Santa’s clothes.
Finish colouring the rest of your Santa.
Die cut some snowflakes from silver glitter card and attach to the top flap of the gift card holder with the ZigTwo Way Glue Pen.
Give your Santa some sparkle by covering his clothes with Clear Wink of Stella.

Heat emboss your sentiment with white embossing powder and either cut or die cut a fishtail.
Stamp some snowflakes on the inside greeting panel and go around the edges of your greeting panel with the SilverWink of Luna pen.  I also added some “splats” of silver too !!
Wrap around a piece of metallic twine and hold in place with your Santa which is attached using foam tape.  Your gift card holder is now complete.
I hope I have inspired you and have fun making your handmade gifts.

Thank’s for popping by !
