Japanese Themed Projects With Cuchy

Happy New Year Kuretake fans!!

Over the past few weeks we have challenged our design team members to create projects under the theme Japan.

Our team members have created some absolutely breath taking pieces and over the next few days we will be sharing their designs. You may have already seen some wonderful designs from Beckie Dryer and Kim Dellow and here are some more...

M. Carmen Sanchez - Cuchy has created two amazing projects for us.

Project one is a beautiful hand made book that Cuchy has made from scratch using a Japanese bookbinding technique. The illustrations are outlined in a ZIG Millennium pens and coloured using ZIG Art & Graphic Twins and a BrusH2O, then finished off by using ZIG Wink of Stella pens.

The Japanese symbol is the Kanji for Love.

Project two is a hand drawn pillow case. Cuchy has used a ZIG Fabricolor marker in Black and a stencil to draw this pattern on to a Canvas pillow case.
