Happy Holidays by Steph Ackerman

Steph Ackerman has been using her favourite Kuretake product ZIG® Art and Graphic Twins again to create this wonderfully festive card.

How To:

Cut green cardstock 5 1/2" x 11". Score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" on each piece.

Next accordion fold the 2 pieces.

Place the 2 pieces (accordion folds facing up) so you have the card overlapping then tape the two pieces of card together. You will then need to cut out a rectangle shape from the centre of the joined cards.

After you separate them again, you have two pieces that look like this.

Adhere the centre panels together to form the card.

Cut red cardstock 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", ink edges with brown ink and adhere to the inside.

To create the finished edges for the front of the card. you will need to cut two patterned edges. Steph has used two Spellbinders Rectangle dies to create a template for her design.

Stamp or draw your desired image on white cardstock. Color the image using ZIG® Art and Graphic Twins. Then stick this stamped piece to the card base, aligning it with the rectangle windows we recommend ZIG® 2 Way Glue.. Steph has also inked the edges of her image to give it a slight distressed look.

Stamp or write Happy Holidays in black ink on white cardstock.  Cut into two pieces. Adhere to the front of the card.
