Christmas Baubles with Kurepunches

Hi There, I've been using the Kurepunch Corner along with the Basically Bare Stackabellies Holiday Ornaments.

How to make the 'Bird' Ornament

Product Used
Kurepunch Corner Deco Heart
Basically Bare Holiday Ornaments, Birds and flowers
Zig Wink of Stella, Zig Art & Graphic, Zig Scroll & Brush
Script Stamp, Small flowers and gems
Gold Mirri, Red and Green Card
Red Twine and Ribbon

First remove the guide from the corner punch and punch out a strip.
Insert the strip again with the punched edge entering first.  Line up the hearts as shown in the second picture.

Pull the strip down gently until it hits the inside of the punch.  Punch out and repeat until you have a strip like the one in the fourth picture.  Repeat this with a red strip and keep the punched out mini hearts.

Colour a script stamp using the Zig Art and Graphic Pens and then stamp on to a Basically Bare chipboard bird.

Trace around the chipboard ornament on gold mirri board and cut out.
Emboss with Tim Holtz sheet music embossing folder.
Ink around the edges of the white felt and glue to the base of the ornament.
Dot around the around the punched border with a Zig Wink of Stella and attach to bauble.
Secure a length of twine with some mini staples.
Fold one of the fabric leaves in half and cut out some semi circels to create holly leaves as shown.

Build up the embellishments on to the bauble to finish the decoration.

For this bauble I punched out some strips and layered them up. I used a Zig Wink of Stella which gives it a sparkle.

This one uses the punch as a corner punch.  I created a little frame and doodle with the Zig Brush and Stroke pen in the centre section.

I hope you are inspired to make some baubles of your own
Happy Crafting
Beckie :)
