KurePunch Corner Punches

Hello Kuretake Fans!

Have you discovered all the other products that Kuretake have to offer along with the fabulous pens??
I am here today to share with you a card and layout made using the KurePunch Corner Punches

These punches not only punch out decorative corners for your projects but they also create amazing borders and more.

Kuretake Products used : KurePunch Corner - Sweet Flowers,  KurePunch Corner - Gothic,  Ribbon

Here's How - Card :

Cut a piece of blue paper to the size of your card blank

Turn the Sweet Flowers punch over and remove the 'corner' guide by gently pushing your finger on the lines and pushing outwards.

Place the punch at the edge of one side of the paper, as shown in the diagram and punch.  To create a continuous line, slide the punch along and match the end section of the punch.  Repeat on the opposite edge.

Using the Gothic punch, punch along the edge of another piece of patterned paper as described in the step above.  Repeat until you have two strips with the decorative edge.

Build your card up with other papers and corner punch out the centre of the greeting section.

To create the layout I used the same techniques to create the border on the page.

If you like matting your photo here is an easy way with the corner punches.  First trim the mat to slightly larger than your photo.  Place the punch over one of the corners so it fits snuggly into the corner guide. Punch.  Repeat on all four side of the mat.

Gently slide your photo into the mat tucking each corner through the gap, as shown below.

You can create chevron effects by cutting into the punched design. Create a mat for a topper by corner punching a square.

Try creating some faux rik rak by using these decorative scissors, also from Kuretake.   Cut a line through the paper and then when cutting the second line match the 'valleys' together.

If you would like to have a go with the Kuretake products you will find them on sale in the Kuretake Shop {HERE}

Enjoy creating and have a great day
